Bailout Buddy

“The two major differences between Bailout Buddy and other systems; first is that it is hands free…the second is that is has cable rather than rope…steel cable is certainly stronger and more durable than rope”

Battalion Chief John Salka, FDNY

“Cable is just safer than rope”

Deputy Chief Robert Cobb,  Jersey City Fire Department

“The fact that a fire fighter that had very little to no training was able to throw himself out of a three story window and successfully come down to the ground in a controlled manner is fantastic”

Deputy Chief, (Ret.)  Michael Smith, Washington DC Fire Department

360 Rescue

360 Rescue is a highly versatile, patent-pending, lightweight combination descent device and extraction winch that can be worn or carried by Rapid Intervention Crew (RIC) members. 360 Rescue can vertically lift up to 600 lbs at a speed of 11 ft/min and can pull several thousand pounds horizontally at up to 13 ft/min as long as the breakaway force is less than 600 lbs. It can also be configured to lift a steel beam or other heavy object weighing a ton or more to free a fallen firefighter.

PAWS

PAWS or Personal Anchor Wedge System is a small, patent-pending device that lets firefighters quickly wedge their bail-out anchor securely in a window. This inexpensive device can be used with all rope systems, already sold and deployed with hooks, greatly increasing the firefighters’ safety in the case of actual use of any bail out system.

Aerial Mule

With the Aerial Mule equipment delivery system, fire equipment is rapidly ferried up the outside of a building to a staging floor two floors below the fire in 1/10th the time using a fraction the number of firefighters required today. As a result, firefighters are not only ready-for-action faster than before, they can start fighting the fire faster to decrease the damage the fire actually does. The Aerial Mule is used to both raise and lower equipment (air tanks, hose sections, etc.) to and from the floor below the fire. Two ascent units will be located on each floor of a high rise and are attached to posts and lowered to the street. This allows them to be put into a rotation to ferry new material up to the staging floor while ferrying used material down.
